The plain-language version

Beard Insider collects very little reader data, keeps photo tools on the visitor’s device, does not use behavioral advertising, and does not accept payment for favorable rankings. These pages explain the details and the limits.

What is active on Beard Insider today

Photo toolsLocal preview only. No upload, facial recognition, attractiveness score, or pixel analysis.

Reader accountsRequired only when a personalized tool result is ready or when research is saved. Tool answers and photos are not added to the account. Public comments and galleries are not offered.

Direct checkoutNot active. Product links lead to third-party brand or retailer pages.

Behavioral ads and analyticsNot used. Beard Insider does not sell reader data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Tool accounts and Beard NotesEmail-code verification is available when a personalized result is ready. Tool answers stay in the browser. Beard Notes is a separate optional choice; no automated marketing campaign is currently being sent.

Paid rankingsNot accepted. A commercial relationship cannot buy an evidence label or editorial conclusion.

Editorial accountability

Product research is also governed by the Evidence Standard, research methodology, and public update and corrections log. Use the contact form for a privacy request, accessibility problem, factual correction, or policy question.

Before new features launch

Direct sales would require checkout, payment, shipping, return, and refund terms. Marketing email requires a working unsubscribe system and sender address. Nonessential analytics or advertising technology requires a new privacy and consent review. Any server-side photo or AI analysis requires a separate pre-upload notice, consent, provider disclosure, retention schedule, and deletion process. Those features are not active today.
