Beard Insider aims to make its guides, tools, navigation, and forms usable across a wide range of devices and assistive technologies. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA practices as a working benchmark; this statement is not a claim of formal certification or perfect conformance.
Measures built into the site
- Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, and form labels.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, controls, skip links, and visible focus states.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and hidden treatment for decorative details.
- Color contrast, readable text sizing, responsive layouts, and reduced-motion support.
- Text status and error messages for forms and interactive tools.
- Photo tools that do not require a camera and questionnaire results that do not depend on visual image analysis.
Known limits
Browser, assistive-technology, and device combinations vary. Long data tables may require horizontal movement on a small screen, and a third-party brand, source, retailer, or embedded destination is outside Beard Insider’s control. Older content or a newly released feature may contain a barrier that has not yet been identified.
Report a barrier or request help
Use the contact form and choose “Accessibility problem.” Include the page URL, the task you were trying to complete, the browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it, and the format or accommodation that would help. Do not include medical information you do not want stored. Beard Insider will review the report and provide a reasonable alternative or remediation when feasible.
Review approach
Accessibility checks are part of browser and form testing, and the site is rechecked after material layout or interaction changes. The U.S. Department of Justice’s web accessibility guidance and WCAG inform this work. Accessibility feedback can also be recorded in the public update log without publishing the reporter’s personal information.
