Cookie Policy & Choices

Review essential storage, optional analytics, on-device tool records, and change or withdraw cookie choices.

Your choice comes first

Beard Insider keeps essential website and account functions available. Optional Google Analytics does not load unless you allow Statistics. Rejecting optional storage is intended to be as easy as accepting it, and you can change your choice at any time.

Categories used on this site

Functional (always available)

These technologies deliver pages, protect forms and accounts, remember consent, support account and commerce sessions, and provide features you request. They are not switched off by the consent control because the requested site functions may otherwise fail.

  • the site and account cookies: cookies such as account authentication cookie, account login cookie, and wp-settings-* can support sign-in, security, and preferences.
  • WooCommerce functional storage: cart or session values such as woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, and wp_woocommerce_session_* can be used on commerce-related pages.
  • Complianz consent storage: first-party consent values record whether optional categories were accepted or rejected. The target duration is 365 days.
  • Security and delivery: the host and the site may process ordinary request and security data needed to deliver and protect the site.

Statistics (optional)

Google Analytics is connected through Google Site Kit. With Statistics enabled, Google’s tag GT-577DM768 may load and Analytics may set or read measurement identifiers such as _ga. Beard Insider uses this category to understand aggregate site use. Google Consent Mode starts with analytics and advertising storage denied; the Google tag itself remains blocked until Statistics is granted.

Marketing

No advertising pixels, retargeting tags, Google Ads tag, or cross-site behavioral advertising script was found in the implementation audit. A Marketing category is therefore not presented. If such technology is added, this inventory and the consent configuration should be reviewed before it is enabled.

On-device tool storage

Some tools save records locally at your request. These records are functional browser storage rather than analytics:

  • beardInsiderOneChangeExperimentV1 — a saved one-change experiment and check-ins.
  • beardInsiderShelfRecordsV1 — up to 12 product shelf-life records.
  • bi_tool_result_pending_v1 — a one-use session record that can resume non-file tool answers after sign-in.

Use the relevant tool’s delete control or clear site data in your browser to remove these local records.

Third-party content and links

No nonessential YouTube, Vimeo, social, advertising, Microsoft Clarity, or other third-party iframe was found during the implementation audit. Outside product and source sites receive a request only after you choose a link. Any newly added nonessential embed should be reviewed and blocked until its appropriate consent category is granted.

Manage or withdraw your choice

Use the live controls below, or the persistent “Manage Consent” control shown on the site, to reject optional storage, allow Statistics, or withdraw a previous choice. Closing the banner, scrolling, or waiting does not count as consent. Essential website functions remain available.
